I went there over a year ago. Won't be going there again. Ridiculous mark up on parts, extremely high labor costs. I had 2 cars broken down, don't make the mistake of taking them to the same place. Any mechanic knows that they have you then. Car 1: A part you can buy at any Auto store for $100, they marked the part up to, according to Ed: $221. And around $200 for labor and diagnostics, for what (according to other mechanics) was an hour and a half job. Still having issues with this fix. Car 2: Estimated north of $1500. Took it to another mechanic and it was fixed for $500. Over a year later, and it's still running great. Still somehow got charged $150. Other problems: Attitude of everyone involved. I work at Cerner, that does not mean that I am made of money. Comments like "you work at Cerner, you can afford it" are incredibly unprofessional. I posted a less detailed review on google right after this happened. Those reviews somehow are no longer publicly viewable. I can still view the review if I log in on that account. I do not know why or how this has happened. FOLLOW UP thoughts to Ed's comments. I've amended a couple of things to make my complaints more accurate. I'm not trying to personally attack you, just communicate a very negative experience. I had estimated some costs incorrectly as the episode occurred over a year ago. I don't know why my previous comments no longer show up on google. I went to demandforce, and those are not my reviews. Those were from other unsatisfied customers. Additionally, Car 2 did not sit on your lot for "several weeks." That's an exaggeration. It was there for about 10 days, which encompassed two weekends and thanks giving holiday. All in all, about 4-5 business days. It was in the corner of an empty lot, and did not appear to be a hassle in any way for you. I thank you for allowing it to be there until I could make alternate arrangements. That may be my only positive take away. No, I do not expect free towing, but when you offered to tow it the very short distance to your garage, I did not expect nor was I told beforehand what I would be charged. If there was confusion on the state of car 2, then it's because it was not clarified properly. And yes, I decided that it was not worth my time or money to be charged any more for diagnostics than I already had. I'm glad that you would have immediately terminated anyone making that type of comment. I wish I had gone to you then, because now I do not remember who said it. You have every right to believe whatever you want, but I assure you that it was indeed said to me, and it is the #1 reason that I am still upset almost a year and a half later. Last of all, I am put off again by your attitude in your response. It is bad business to attack customers, and I do not appreciate it at all. If my facts are out of date, simply correct them, do Not call me a liar. I had a negative experience, and I will tell anyone who asks me. For anyone deciding on where to take your car, everyone has good days and bad days. Compared to the other reviews I have seen, I definitely did not get their best. Finding a good mechanic is a tough part of moving to a new place. I am happy that I kept looking.
