A Day at the Spa for my cars: Northtown Auto Clinic gave me the best auto repair experience I have ever had and I've been driving for over 40 years. The Clinic is just off Armour Rd in NKC, behind Denny's. I needed to bring in two cars for winterizing and inspections. The office staff, Bret and Erin, were wonderful and very helpful. Erin suggested I bring in both cars the same day. I llive about 15 minutes away, and between Erin and Ed (Schaeffer; owner) we were able to shuttle cars so that they both got done. Bonus - they offer a loaner car, though you can stay in their bright and comfortably furnished customer lounge with a complimentary beverage while your repair is being completed. BTW - this place is spotless, both the lounge and the shop! I think that is a positive reflection of how much a business cares about you as a customer, and about their work product and reputation.On the 2009 Civic I own, the mechanic identified a leak in my tire caused by a nail and patched it. I neglected to tell the staff that I needed a safety inspection for my older car, a '99 Chrysler, in order to get it registered in the state of MO. This was discovered as I was checking out, and instead of having to come back, they did the safety inspection on the spot! Also some future repair needs were identified, though I was not pushed to complete them that day. Now I know what to budget down the road for maintenance and repair. This place has been in business for over 30 years and judging by the certificates on the lounge wall, the owner and staff are highly credentialed. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and accomodating and has a strong commitment to great customer service. I would highly recommend Northtown Auto Clinic for any repair or maintenance job, large or small. I will continue to bring my cars here.

My car was out of alignment so I called Northtown Auto and they fit me in that day. They were able to correct the alignment issue and the cost was minimal! Thanks for a pleasant experience NAC!

Seem to be very honest. Kept me informed on status of vehicle frequently. Good at explaining problem and options. I do most of my own auto repair but when I have an issue that I don't have the tools to repair or I am stumped, I take it to them. Seem expensive but thorough.

I do most of my own auto repair work, however when I have a problem that I can not resolve or I don't have the tools to do it myself, I always take the vehicle to Northtown Auto Clinic. I have not known them to be dishonest and they seem to be very competent. Their office wall is covered with their certificates of achievement for automotive repair classes. They are very good at informing you of the progress of your repair. I would not hesitate to recommend them for automotive repair.

Everyone was very helpful and kept me posted to the progress. They provided exact cost estimates and completed the work in a timely manner.

I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. Although more than I wanted to put into the vehicle it was explained to me in the perfect way that even I could understand. Not only will I be a returning customer for life but have already told several people exactly where to take their cars if they have any issues.
