First time customer. Went in to get an oil change and was able to drop my car off while I was at work. Great experience and staff during that visit. HOWEVER when I went to pick it up, I was a victim of the stereotypical car service scam. I was told that my battery was failing and that I needed to replace it IMMEDIATELY as well as get my tires rotate and a few other costly things. As this was just a quick stop in and my first visit, I told them I would take care of any other issues at my family dealer. Took my car in there (about 3 weeks later-- mind you the battery showed no issues while I was driving around those weeks) and they tested the battery multiple times. It's fine. So long story short, get a second opinion because I feel like I was just being nickle and dimed.
Thank you for your input! We are of course always very concerned about helping our customers stay informed in services that may help maintain the safety and reliability of their vehicles. In light of your concerns, we pulled your paperwork to review our procedures and make sure our policies are in line. We found the vehicle, at the time of service, was 3,000 miles overdue for its oil change and the battery, rated to 600 cold cranking amps, was only tested to 331 CCA. So we apologize if we were not clear in our suggestions to help you maintain the health of your vehicle. As we are finding all of our suggestions were warranted per the measurements and readings of our equipment, we will make a conscious effort to explain our findings better in the future. Thank you for bringing this concern to light and allowing us to improve our business!
