Thanks again for your timely excellent service in replacing my alternator. I would likely have been stranded somewhere if you had not noticed the problem while servicing my other issue (the stalling of my suv in traffic probably due to my driving in high water and getting my electronic engine system wet). I assume since the stalling has not reoccurred, that was the correct diagnosis. You guys are the best and I recommend you at every opportunity.

I had to have a diagnostic run on my 2011 nissan versa due to the fact that it would not start. I was informed upfront how they run a preliminary diagnosis then do a hard diagnosis if they are unable to locate the issue on the prelim. (as well as the fee's). When I was told what was wrong, it appeared to be nothing more than the chip identifier malfunction. The ECU was no longer recognizing the chip in the keys. What I highly recommend is that you be very careful about who you choose to care for your vehicle. This minor issue cost me $80 to tow to the shop, $140 diagnostic fee, $100 more to tow it away because they were ill-equipped to reprogram the keys, and finally $90 to get the keys reprogrammed.

Like we talked about while you were here, unfortunately with the timing of your breakdown being the days before the July 4th holiday, our usual service we call in for key programming like this was out of town. We are glad we were able to come to a concise diagnosis for you (since initially you had tried jumpstarts and thought there were wiring issues under the dash) and very happy to hear our advised key repair ended up being successful.
